JWH 018  is a potent synthetic cannabinoid (CB) which has been identified in smoking mixtures.^1,2 NNEI  is an analog of JWH 018 which differs by having an amide linker inserted between the naphthalene and ketone groups. 5-fluoro NNEI is a derivative of NNEI in which a fluorine atom has been added to the terminal carbon of the pentyl chain. This modification of other synthetic CBs typically increases the compound’s affinity for both CB receptors significantly.³ The physiological and toxicological properties of this compound are not known. This product is intended for forensic and research applications.
