Sage Science develops products for the life sciences research markets. Our mission is to provide new systems to streamline and improve sample preparation workflows for DNA and protein analysis.

In 2010-12, the company commercialized the Pippin Prep andBluePippin preparative electrophoresis systems for targeted size selection of biomolecules. The Pippin platform has since established itself as a key platform for the construction of high-quality libraries for next-gen sequencing. In 2014 Sage Science released a new electrophoresis platform, the SageELF for whole sample fractionation of DNA or proteins, and the PippinHT, a high-throughput version of the BluePippin.
