gene codes for two mRNA isoforms, a short form of 3.0 kb (hPRR2α) and a long form of 4.4 kb (hPRR2δ). Both are widely expressed in human tissues, including hematopoietic cells. CD112 is also expressed on endothelial cells, at the intercellular junctions of adjacent cells. PRR2 may play a role in the regulation of hematopoietic/endothelial cell interactions.
This antibody is routinely tested by flow cytometric analysis. Other applications were tested at BD Biosciences Pharmingen during antibody development only or reported in the literature.
