CD43 is enzymatically shed from leucocyte surfaces following activation by various stimuli. CD43 appears to be involved in mediating intercellular interactions that regulate leucocyte functions.

No. 554721; dashed line histogram) or Purified NA/LE Mouse Anti-Human CD43 (Cat. No. 551457; solid line histogram), followed by FITC Goat Anti-Mouse IgG/IgM (Cat. No. 555988). Erythrocytes were lysed with BD Pharm Lyse™ Lysing Buffer (Cat. No. 555899) . Fluorescent histograms were derived from gated events with the forward and side light-scattering characteristics of viable lymphocytes.
