简单描述
The R73 monoclonal antibody specifically recognizes the αβ T-cell Receptor (TCR) found on most peripheral T lymphocytes, intestinal intraepithelial lymphocytes, and thymocytes. It does not react with γδ TCR-bearing cells. Cross-linked R73 mAb induces T-cell activation and differentiation. In vivo treatment with mAb R73 can suppress immune function of peripheral αβ TCR-expressing T cells, and reduce the severity of experimental autoimmune, transplant rejection, and graft-versus-host responses.

产品详情
Purified
Tissue culture supernatant is purified by either protein A/G or affinity purification methods. Both methods yield antibody in solution that is free of most other soluble proteins, lipids, etc. This format provides pure antibody that is suitable for a number of downstream applications including: secondary labeling for flow cytometry or microscopy, ELISA, Western blot, etc.

αβ TCR expression in spleen and thymus. Lewis splenocytes were simultaneously stained with PE-conjugated anti-rat CD3 G4.18 (Cat. No. 554833, left panels) and purified R73 (bottom left panel) monoclonal antibodies, followed by FITC-conjugated anti-mouse IgG1 mAb A85-1 (Cat. No. 553443, left panels). Lewis thymocytes were stained with purified mAb R73 (bottom right panel), followed by FITC-conjugated anti-mouse IgG1 mAb A85-1 (right panels). Flow cytometry was performed on a BD FACScan™ flow cytometry system.

Flow cytometric analysis of αβ TCR expression in rat spleen and thymus. Lewis splenocytes were simultaneously stained with PE Mouse Anti-Rat CD3 (Cat. No. 554911, left panels) and Purified Mouse Anti-Rat αβ T-Cell Receptor (Cat. No. 554911; bottom left panel), followed by FITC Rat Anti-Mouse IgG1 (Cat. No. 553443, left panels). Lewis thymocytes were stained with Purified Mouse Anti-Rat αβ T-Cell Receptor (bottom right panel), followed by FITC Rat Anti-Mouse IgG1 (right panels). Fluorescent histograms and two-color contour plots were derived from gated events with the forward and side light-scattering characteristics of viable cells. Flow cytometry was performed on a BD FACScan™ flow cytometry system.
